Matthieu, âgé de 36 ans, est atteint de la maladie cancéreuse d’Hodgkin. Aujourd’hui, cette maladie concerne une très faible proportion de la population, et on estime qu’environ 5 personnes sur 100 000 seraient touchées. Afin de lutter contre son cancer et détruire les cellules cancéreuses, Matthieu a déjà eu recours à plusieurs chimiothérapies. Malheureusement, au cours de ces différentes interventions, il a également développé certains effets secondaires tels que l’ostéonécrose (la décomposition et la mort des tissus osseux), réduisant dès lors très fortement sa mobilité.
C’est dans ce contexte que nous avons décidé d’intervenir et de tout pour faire pour qu’il puisse réaliser un de ces rêves : ASSISTER A UN MATCH NBA.
Les tickets contre OKC, Dallas et Memphis (25 au 29 mars 2015) nous ont été offerts par les Spurs mais nous avons besoin de votre aide afin de pouvoir lui offrir ce voyage. En effet, en raison de sa maladie et du délai plus que court, un budget de 5000euros est nécessaire pour permettre à Matthieu de voyager et d’oublier sa maladie le temps d’une semaine.

Matthew, 36 years old, suffers from cancer Hodgkin’s disease. Today, this disease affects a very small proportion of the population and it is estimated that about 5 per 100 000 people would be affected. In order to fight against his cancer and destroy cancer cells, Matthew has used several chimiotherapies. Unfortunately, during these various interventions, it has also developed some side effects such as osteonecrosis (decay and death of bone tissue), thus greatly reducing its mobility.
Unconditional fan of basketball, it is in this context that the association Basketball Global Vision has decided to step in and do everything to be able to allow Matthew to realize another dream: attending an NBA game.
So that this project can be realized, our non-profit organization relies on the participation and the gift of each to be able to finance this long journey. Indeed, because of his illness and more than short time, a budget of 5000 euros would be needed to allow Matthew to travel and to forget his illness time a week.
